Welcoming without double seating: the value of time at the table
Without pressure to leave the table quickly, dinner changes: there is time to talk, drink well and slow down.
For us, time at the table is part of the experience. Avoiding double seating is not only an organizational choice; it changes the way guests live the evening.
It means arriving, sitting down, choosing, talking, waiting for the right dish and perhaps asking for wine advice without feeling that the table must be freed quickly. The rhythm of dinner becomes more human, closer to the hospitality we care about.
This does not mean making everything unnecessarily long. It means giving the meal its own space. In a green area away from the centre, quiet only makes sense if the service lets the table breathe too.
