Fondue Bourguignonne
Conviviality on the table
Fondue Bourguignonne, or more simply Meat Fondue, is a dish of Swiss origin that has become very popular in Valle d’Aosta and Piedmont. It is precisely in the latter region that it has been so widespread that it has become a traditional dish, albeit with some differences from the original version.
Eating Fondue Bourguignonne is an experience of conviviality and relaxation: each guest cooks his meat in the saucepan of oil placed in the middle of the table, deciding on his preferred cooking. Once cooked, you can choose one of the 6 sauces we offer as a condiment, so you can try new flavors and combinations.
For our proposal we were inspired by both versions, both the Swiss and the Piedmontese ones: the oil in which the meat is cooked is olive and for the meat we chose the Beef Fillet, a soft cut that goes perfectly with this dish.
Come and try it at our restaurant, we will be happy to explain each sauce and explain this particular and much appreciated dish.
